However, the voice announcing the presentation of It's a Happily Ever After After All could be his- making The Third an off-screen appearance. The voice actors were incredible including stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow. It was one of the first adult themed CGI stories with characters who came with a witty sense of humor. The Magic Mirror appears in every main film except Shrek the Third. Shrek was groundbreaking with eye-popping CGI and a story that appealed to both young and old.Later installments show characters using him as a TV screen.The Magic Mirror is inspired by "Magic Mirror" from Disney's Snow White.The Magic Mirror also appears in Shrek Smash n' Crash Racing, alerting the player when a new character or mode is unlocked. The Magic Mirror appears in the Shrek Forever After video game, in which the main characters can use him to teleport between Shrek's normal world and the alternate reality. He also had a major presence during the game's tutorial levels. He appears throughout the game announcing the various "Hero Time" levels, and chiming in the action at certain moments. The Magic Mirror appeared in the Shrek 2 video game as the narrator. He is also the only character who actual voice lines, with Chris Miller reprising his role from the film. There are board spaces that can summon him to force players into random events- most of which intended to either lead the player to victory, or hold them back. The Magic Mirror appears in Shrek Super Party as the host of the tournament mode. A new feature however displays him projecting a clone of the video game "Space Invaders" when Farquaad is in the bathtub. He still helps Lord Farquaad pick Fiona as his princess, and is used for his amusement. The Mirror's role is no different than the first film. In the alternative universe, he is again being used as a TV screen announcing Rumpelstiltskin's "Deal of Lifetime." He appears at the end credits with the rest of the fairytale creatures to help Fiona light the pretty ball. He reports the news of Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots being captured by the guards of Far Far Away and is seen during the song "Livin la Vida Loca". The Magic Mirror is used as a TV screen in Shrek's home. The mirror is then seen attending Shrek and Fiona's wedding, and is later seen at Shrek's Karaoke Dance Party. Farquaad also uses him as a mirror while getting ready for his wedding. The Magic Mirror is later seen propped up on an easel in Farquaad's room, forced to replay an image of Fiona for him. ![]() After Farquaad chooses Fiona, the mirror attempts to warn him about "the little thing that happens at night" to no avail. ![]() The mirror presents him with three princesses to choose from: Cinderella, Snow White, and Princess Fiona. The Magic Mirror clarifies by saying that while Farquaad isn't a king yet, he can become one if he simply marries a princess. The mirror tells him that Duloc isn’t a kingdom, since he isn't actually a king- prompting Farquaad to have Thelonious threaten him by smashing a handheld mirror. Farquaad has his captain bring him to the dungeons and asks the mirror if Duloc is the "most perfect kingdom of them all". The Magic Mirror is brought to Duloc at the request of Lord Farquaad.
